Can I be Hypnotized?
In a QHHT or even in a hypnotherapy setting, hypnosis has often been compared to a state of daydreaming or that transitional phase we experience before or after sleep.
I also appreciate psychologist Dr. Brian Weiss's succinct description of hypnosis as an easy "Relaxed Inner focus."
You’re not unconscious or controlled; you’re deeply focused inwardly.
It is just a deep relax, where the noise of the conscious mind is gone, mostly receding into the background and often not noticeable. In that relaxed state we are easily led to access what Dolores Cannon referred to as the 'subconscious'
Dolores used the term subconscious broadly. In Quantum Healing Hypnosis, the subconscious, as Dolores also explained, is that “much larger, more powerful, and more knowledgeable” part of a person’s mind. This state is the Higher Self or Higher Mind. It's always amazing and easy to just allow the connection to your own wholeness and greater wisdom to speak. This state is accessible to everyone. And while you are just relaxed and speaking from that Higher Mind, you are also immersed in the experience of either a life being shown to you or getting your own profound answers to your questions.
It's truly easy as you are guided by a trusted practitioner to move there effortlessly and you are just allowing the Higher Self to speak, just by saying the first thing that comes to mind, the first impressions you have or feel.
